Can I keep my personal physician?
Yes. We will work closely with your health care provider and help reinforce the primary physician/patient relationship. We consider this bond to be a high priority.
Who is eligible for home health care?
Any individual requiring nursing and/or a rehabilitative therapy is eligible for home health care. The nurses work with the patient’s physician and complete an assessment and implement a plan of care.
Who pays for home health care?
Many health insurance policies pay for home health services, such as Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicaid, private insurances, and Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs). Call us first and we will help you find out what your insurance will pay for. As a not-for-profit provider, Home Nursing Agency provides services regardless of the ability to pay or insurance coverage.
Who can make a referral?
Anyone can make a referral to Home Nursing Agency. Call us and our healthcare professionals will work closely with an individual’s primary care physician to begin providing services.
How does HNA safeguard your protection?
Every Home Nursing Agency employee/volunteer has extensive background clearances. We cover each of them with general liability insurance and Worker’s Compensation insurance.
How does HNA protect your health information?
HNA maintains confidentiality with all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
