 Home Nursing Agency Captures National Recognition for Employee Satisfaction November, 1 2008 - Not only has Home Nursing Agency captured a statewide ranking, for the fifth consecutive year as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in PA, the Agency also captured national recognition today from Modern Healthcare, which released its inaugural rankings of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare in the nation. According to the list available at www.ModernHealthcare.com, Home Nursing Agency is the only in-home and community-based provider in Pennsylvania nationally ranked in employee satisfaction. With nearly 1,000 employees, the agency served over 21,000 individuals throughout Central Pennsylvania last year alone including Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Franklin, Fulton and Huntingdon counties. Modern Healthcare partnered with Best Companies Group, a PA-based firm that administers "best places to work" programs nationwide. Modern Healthcare conducted this program to recognize outstanding employers in the healthcare industry on a national level. Employers completed a survey detailing company policies, practices, benefits and demographics. Employees were asked an in-depth set of questions that resulted in an analysis in eight core areas: leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits and overall satisfaction.
