 September 2009 - United Kingdom Nurse Shadows Nurse-Family Partnership Staff In September, Home Nursing Agency's Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) was honored to host Jean Baker, a Nurse-Home Visitor from the United Kingdom, who shadowed our Agency's NFP staff during her weeklong stay. Jean Baker is a Florence Nightingale Scholarship recipient, and an esteemed Nurse-Home Visitor who is part of the Family-Nurse Partnership (FNP) Program (as it is called in the UK). Jean describes Somerset, UK as a rural site and the nurses are based in different locations throughout the region. Therefore, it was very appropriate for Jean to visit our Agency, which was highly recommended to her by Nurse-Family Partnership officials at the state and national level.
