 October 2009 - Agency's ACEL Program Holds United Way Fundraiser on Halloween Home Nursing Agency's Adult Center for Exceptional Learning (ACEL) held their annual Halloween party to raise money for the United Way of Blair County. The ACEL participants, volunteers, and staff dressed in costume, decorated the facility, and cooked a special spaghetti dinner to add to the festivities. The event raised $218.35 for the United Way, which traditionally supports the Agency's programs and services. ACEL promotes independence and functioning of adults with developmental disabilities through community and center-based activities. Home Nursing Agency is the only homecare and hospice provider in the region to also offer home and community-based supportive care for children and adults who are physically disabled, or mentally challenged.
