 December 2009 - Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Altoona resident Brigette Scaramozzino The Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Altoona resident Brigette Scaramozzino, Volunteer of the Home Nursing Agency Adult Center for Exceptional Learning (ACEL). A volunteer of 12 years, Brigette is never deterred from giving her best. Also a creative writer and poet, Brigette is helpful in more ways than anyone can count and can be found on all the levels at the ACEL program. Her positive attitude and steadfast willingness to assist wherever needed has made a profound difference in lives of the ACEL families. She is unstoppable!
