 Agencies Agree to Work Independently September 13, 2006 - For more than eleven years Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania and Home Nursing Agency have been formally joined through a unique affiliation agreement. This arrangement has served each organization and the needs of our community well and is a real success story born out of collaboration, cooperation and shared resources. Given the growth, diversity and unique needs of each organization, the formal relationship between Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania and Home Nursing Agency ended August 31, 2006 in favor of a voluntary commitment to work together to serve the needs of area individuals and families. Originally providing services in Blair, Bedford, Centre and Clinton counties, Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania has expanded to provide services for children and adults with disabilities and their families in 21 counties throughout Central Pennsylvania. It is affiliated with Easter Seals' national network of organizations offering services and support for people living with disabilities throughout the U.S. and in Australia. At the same time, Home Nursing Agency has been advancing its presence throughout Central Pennsylvania to meet the diverse needs and demands of an aging population. As a trusted provider of in-home and community services for nearly 40 years, the Agency is experiencing unprecedented growth in all of the services for patients and families and is expanding into new facilities in several counties to accommodate an increasing employee roster.
