 Centre County Health Professionals Attend WIC Open House Several Philipsburg residents and members of the Centre County Council for Human Services attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house held in December at Home Nursing Agency's WIC (Women, Infants and Children) branch now located at 200 North Front Street, Philipsburg, in the current Finberg Building. Home Nursing Agency serves all Centre County WIC clients from three main branches located in State College, Bellefonte and Philipsburg. The Agency's WIC staff is also available monthly at satellite offices in Millheim and Snow Shoe, and quarterly at offices in Port Matilda and Howard. In addition to offering homecare, hospice, private duty/companion care, and rehabilitative therapies, Home Nursing Agency has been entrusted by federal and state agencies to administer programs like Easter Seals, Nurse-Family Partnership, and WIC throughout Centre County. The Agency also partners with the State College Area School District to provide children and adolescents with behavioral health services through the "Hearts" Program.
