AIDS Intervention Project (AIP) Manager Jerry Rice and Blair County Commissioner Donna Gority represented AIP on the Nov. 30 broadcast of Central PA Live to discuss the World AIDS Day event.

Home Nursing Agency’s AIDS Intervention Project (AIP) hosted a local event in observation of World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, 2011.

This year’s World AIDS Day campaign was themed “Getting to Zero. Zero New HIV Infections. Zero Discrimination. Zero AIDS-Related Deaths.”

“Raising awareness becomes really important in a community that believes HIV does not exist,” shares Jerry Rice, AIP manager. “I think people in our area ignore it and pretend it’s not there.”
