April 10-16, 2016 is National Volunteer Week. Home Nursing Agency gratefully acknowledges and thanks our volunteers for their selfless contributions to serve others.
No one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another.
Thank you to our volunteers, who serve in a variety of roles to make a difference in the lives of those we serve and to lighten the burdens of another. The presence and impact of our volunteers is evident as you:
- Support grieving children and families through the Healing Patch and Hospice Bereavement
- Sit at the bedside of hospice patients who are actively dying
- Provide companionship for Hospice caregivers
- Make weekly "tuck in" phone calls to ensure patients and caregivers have what they need
- Offer clerical support for staff
- Interact with and assist individuals at ACEL who have cognitive and physical disabilities
- Contribute to the direction and future of Home Nursing Agency as a board or committee member
