7/7/15 Now in its second year, the Life O’Riley Memorial Ride was started in memory of Michael Patrick Riley to raise funds in support of the Agency's program for grieving children. This year's ride is scheduled for Saturday, July 18.

Michael Riley passed away in April 2013 at age 34. “After the unexpected loss of my brother, I felt it was extremely important to turn our family’s loss into something positive for others. My brother left behind three young daughters, and we feel the work of the Healing Patch is extremely important for our community,” said Michael’s sister, Nicole Riley Earhart.

This year’s ride will leave from 4D's in Altoona. Tickets are $20 each. Sign in begins at 1 pm with departure at 2 pm. Doors open at 4D’s at 4 pm for the band Nobody’s Heroes, as well as pig roast, basket raffle, 50/50, t-shirts, and door prizes. For tickets or donations, contact Nicole Earhart at (814) 232-5174 or Erin Masone at (814) 201-0524.

The 1st Annual Life O’Riley Memorial Ride raised more than $3,000 to support grieving children and their families through the Healing Patch.
