How Your $100 Will Change a Life:

Providing Vital Medication – Your support helped 40-year-old Henry get back to good health.
Diagnosed with a severe breathing condition, Henry was hospitalized many times and as a result he was unable to work and ultimately lost his job, health insurance and the ability to pay for his medications. Your support provided Henry with much needed medications until he was enrolled into another health insurance plan that covered his care. Having access to these vital medications kept Henry out of the hospital several times and ultimately he was able to return to the workforce and become insured.

Honoring Our Veterans – An emotional ceremony pays special tribute to veterans for their service and sacrifice.
Hospice patients who served our country are recognized for their dedicated service through WE HONOR VETERANS, a unique program that is administered by the Agency’s Hospice staff. Frank was one of the very first veteran Hospice patients honored with a pinning ceremony and certificate presentation. A WWII Army veteran who participated in D Day, Frank was emotionally overwhelmed when presented the symbolic lapel pin surrounded by his local Honor Guard. Thanks to your support, more than 125 veterans have received the “thank you” they deserve for their service, sacrifice and valor.

Helping A Family – Caring for a child with a life threatening illness is a 24/7 job for everyone.
The oldest of five children, Kylie suffers from a medical condition that requires round-the-clock care supported by her parents and siblings. As a result, family time is limited, yet desperately needed. Your support has provided a few hours of respite that made a huge difference in the lives of Kylie’s caregivers. A day at the park without stress and worry about Kylie’s physical needs is just what this family needed to remain strong and most of all, together.
