Home Nursing Agency's Hospice Program and Palliative Care Consult Service have captured the attention of officials at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NPCO), which is the oldest and largest nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs and professionals in the United States. NHPCO is headquartered in Alexandria, VA.

The Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center hosted Hospice Foundation of America's 13th Annual Teleconference focusing on Pain Management at the End of Life.



Assistant Secretary of Aging Validates Mission of Home Nursing Agency

January 13, 2006 - Home Nursing Agency Administration, Board Members, Staff and Patients welcomed a visit from the Assistant Secretary of Aging for the US Department of Health and Human Services, Josefina Carbonell, who was accompanied by United States Congressman Bill Shuster, R-9th. Shuster, a member of the Rural Health Care Coalition in Congress, worked with Administration officials to secure the visit by Assistant Secretary Carbonell. Home Nursing Agency is very grateful for an opportunity to showcase its unique network of diversity as an in-home and community-based provider.
