
Rep. Shuster Visits Home Nursing Agency's Community Services Site
ALTOONA - Congressman Bill Shuster (middle) listened to concerns voiced by Home Nursing Agency officials Donna Hartford (left), Director of Clinical Services, and Scott Moyer (right), Director of Community Services, on the importance of sustaining drug and alcohol services in the community despite the recent funding slashes.
During his visit to the Agency's Community Support Programs, located at 500 E. Chestnut Avenue, Rep. Shuster was also apprised of the diverse services offered by Home Nursing Agency including Drug and Alcohol (Addiction Treatment), the Center of Counseling for Adult and Children with mental health issues as well as the AIDS Intervention Project. Rep. Shuster also visited with clients and staff at Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania and at the Agency's Adult Day Center, which are located 501 Valley View Boulevard.
“I am impressed by the outstanding job the Home Nursing Agency is doing. They are providing important services for the community and I look forward to working with them in the future,” said Congressman Shuster.
